Rutherford House
Rutherford House, built in 1911 at 11153 Saskatchewan Drive, was intended as the official residence for Alberta premiers but was completed after Alexander Cameron Rutherford left office. The Rutherford family lived there until 1940, when it was sold to the University of Alberta. Chosen for its university proximity and views of the legislature, this post-Edwardian brick mansion is now a restored provincial historic site. Worth a visit. Landscape orientation.
